The right mount, at every site.

I design and produce rack mounts built around specific devices, in volume, for IT firms, integrators and businesses that roll out the same hardware across locations.

Standardizing hardware across sites?

This is for rollouts: dozens to hundreds of the same mount, for a device I already make or one I design around your hardware. Deployments across many sites, integrator builds, hardware refreshes. If you need fewer than ten of something, the shop is faster and the price is the same.

Want a mount I don't make yet?

Tell me the device. Every request is logged, and when one keeps coming up I buy it, design the mount and add it to the shop. Several products started exactly this way.

Need it for a deployment, not just your own rack? That is a custom project. The steps are below, and the quote button is the place to start.

How a custom project works

Five steps. You know the scope and the cost before any design work starts, and you approve the design before anything is produced.

  1. STEP 1

    Send the details

Make and model, rack size, quantity, and any requirements for orientation or port access.

  2. STEP 2

    Concept and feasibility

I confirm the devices can be mounted the way you need and send a project forecast: approach, estimated unit pricing, timeline, and how we handle the sample device.

  3. STEP 3

    Retainer

A retainer scaled to the project secures the design time and gets the work started.

  4. STEP 4

    Design, proof and fit

Renders for your approval, then a test fit on the real device. Nothing goes to production until I have verified the fit.

  5. STEP 5

    Production and delivery

The approved design goes into production and ships to you, or to each site.

Every mount is designed and test fitted against the real device. Never from dimensions alone.

On a custom project, the sample device is settled in the concept phase. Sometimes you send one and it comes back with your order. Sometimes I source it as part of the project. Either way, you know the plan before you commit.

Why I don't make single mounts

Every mount I sell is designed and test fitted against the real device. Measurements and spec sheets aren't enough, because port positions, vents and tolerances are where a mount succeeds or fails. That means building a new mount starts with buying the device, and for many devices that costs more than the mount ever will.

Behind every mount in the shop are hours of modeling, test prints and fitting before the first one ships. Spread across a product line, that works. For one person and one mount, it doesn't add up for either of us.

Please don't ship me hardware for a single mount. Between design time and preproduction work, a single mount for a niche device is outside what I can take on right now, and I can't accept unsolicited devices. Put it on the request list instead. If enough people want it, it becomes a product, and you'll be the first to know.

Tell me what you want a mount for

Every request is logged. When a device keeps coming up, I buy one, design the mount and add it to the catalog. Leave your email and I'll let you know if yours makes it.

Request received. Thanks, it's logged. If the device makes it into the shop, I'll email you.
Used only to tell you when the mount launches.

Planning a rollout?

Ten mounts or fewer: order straight from the shop, same pricing, ships in days. Standardizing hardware across sites: send the make, model and quantity and I'll scope the project.
